Jill Rowe Receives VLSP Outstanding Volunteer in Public Service Award

The Volunteer Legal Services Program of the Bar Association of San Francisco has awarded Cooper, White & Cooper LLP partner Jill Rowe a 2008 Outstanding Volunteer in Public Services Award.

VLSP serves people in need of social services and legal assistance in areas including family law, housing, and consumer disputes. VLSP serves nearly 20,000 clients each year, and is one of the nation's premiere providers of pro bono legal services.

Ms. Rowe is a highly experienced real estate litigator who has represented many of the preeminent real estate companies in the Bay Area. In her pro bono work with VLSP's Housing Negotiation Project, she represents low-income tenants facing eviction in mandatory pre-trial settlement conferences. With Ms. Rowe's assistance, numerous San Francisco families have been able to remain in their homes.
