Cooper, White & Cooper LLP Elevates Four to Partner

Cooper, White & Cooper LLP is pleased to announce that four associates were invited to join the firm as members effective January 1, 2005. Two of the new partners work in its San Francisco office and two are resident in the firm's Walnut Creek office.
According to firm chairman Mark Schreiber, "we are fortunate to have the opportunity to welcome lawyers of such excellence and energy as new members of our firm."
The new partners are:
Derek A. Ridgway is a 1997 graduate of the University of San Francisco. His practice emphasizes real estate, investments, and related corporate matters, including the acquisition, financing, and structuring of complex investments and real estate developments. He represents venture capital funds, large developers, and private and public companies. He is a resident of the firm's Walnut Creek office.
Jill B. Rowe represents clients in business litigation and NASD arbitration from the firm's San Francisco office. She is a 1998 graduate of the University of Washington School of Law who joined Cooper, White & Cooper in 1999. She serves on the firm's employment committee and provides pro bono services through San Francisco's Homeless Advocacy Project.
Cyrus P. Wadia is an intellectual property lawyer and litigator, focusing on trademark, copyright and Internet-related matters. Mr. Wadia leads the firm's Music & Recording Industry practice, representing musicians, record labels and producers, and regularly contributes to music-related publications locally and around the country. He is based in the firm's San Francisco office.
Dee A. Ware , resident in the Walnut Creek office, joined the firm in 2002. Her practice focuses on complex construction, real estate and commercial litigation. She is a 1991 graduate of the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. Ms. Ware was an appointee to the State Bar's Committee on the Administration of Justice and has served as a Judge Pro Tem for the Alameda County Courts.
