Drew Dilworth elected Vice Chair of State Bar Committee on Professional Responsibility and Conduct

Drew Dilworth was recently elected Vice Chair of the California State Bar’s Committee on Professional Responsibility and Conduct (COPRAC) for the year 2017. His appointment has been approved by the State Bar Board of Trustees. COPRAC was created by the Board to serve as the Bar’s experts on legal ethics and the rules of professional conduct. COPRAC issues advisory ethics opinions designed to provide California practitioners with guidance on issues of professional responsibility. The Committee also serves as an advisor to the Board and other Bar constituents with respect to consideration of proposed rule changes, and engages in a variety of public outreach involving continuing legal education in the area of legal ethics. Prior to his appointment to leadership, Mr. Dilworth served a three year term on COPRAC. Mr. Dilworth is a partner in Cooper, White & Cooper LLP’s Professional Responsibility Practice Group where he focuses his practice on the law governing lawyers, advising and representing lawyers and law firms.
