Robert C. Gebhardt, Alan J. Haus, and John P. Epperson have joined Cooper, White & Cooper LLP as partners in its San Francisco office.
Robert C. Gebhardt is an accomplished trial lawyer who has taken more than 100 cases to jury verdict. He is a fellow of the prestigious American College of Trial Lawyers and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. During his legal career, Bob has defended as well as prosecuted numerous lawsuits involving an extensive array of claims, with particular emphasis on commercial litigation and product liability matters. Bob comes from the Wilson, Elser firm.
Alan J. Haus will head the firm’s intellectual property practice. His work focuses on trademarks and copyrights as well as a broad range of domestic and international business law matters. He is a former Chair of the Trademark Committee of the California State Bar’s Intellectual Property Section. He has more than twenty years of experience counseling start-up companies, securing and protecting their intellectual property, and navigating them through their legal relationships, including any disputes or litigation that may arise. Alan was previously with the Lewis, Brisbois firm.
John P. Epperson has a broad environmental, health and safety law practice, advising clients regarding regulatory compliance counseling, transactional, and permitting issues involving state and regional water boards, the Department of Toxic Substances Control, the Environmental Protection Agency, federal and state OSHAs, and county and municipal-level agencies. Prior to joining the firm, John was an attorney with Carbon Venture Partners and Casto Venture Law.
In addition, associates Sarah Banola, Scott McLeod, and Edward Seidel have been promoted to senior counsel. Each of them is a litigation attorney in the firm’s San Francisco office.
