William H. G. Norman’s article “Lenders Beware of the True Test for Enforcing Personal Guaranties of Commercial Loans: What Would a Jury Think” is a featured article in The State Bar of California’s Joint Section Publication of the Business and Real Property Law Sections, How The Real Estate Meltdown Has Changed Real Estate and Business Law.”

Mr. Norman is a partner at Cooper and Chair of its Real Estate Solutions Group.  He has represented lenders, borrowers, guarantors, the FDIC and the RTC in loan and guaranty litigation for over 30 years, and has tried over 65 cases to conclusion.  He received an undergraduate degree at Williams College and a law degree from University of Virginia Law School.
