The Donald W. Reynolds National Center for Courts and Media, in conjunction with Cooper, White & Cooper, is presenting the fall regional conference entitled “Media in Modern Trial Practice” on Friday, November 18, 2011, from 7:30 AM to Noon at the Santa Clara University School of Law. The event is organized by the Reynolds Center Director and former Cooper attorney Ben Holden.
Panelists including judges and law professors will examine the influence of media on trial practice, the intersection of social media and litigation, and recent e-practice developments. The conference is timely as reflected, for example, in California’s new law banning jurors from social media activities during jury duty.
Besides litigation attorneys, the conference should also be of interest to both traditional and new media reporters. For more information or to register, please contact Andrew Johnson at email@example.com or (775) 784-6531. The registration fee is $30 or $99 with three units of California CLE credit.
