Cooper’s professional liability attorneys specialize in representing law firms and lawyers in professional liability litigation in cases involving legal malpractice, professional responsibility, law practice management, loss prevention, breach of fiduciary duty, malicious prosecution and violations of disciplinary rules and other law. We counsel law firms and lawyers in private and public practice on legal ethics and professional conduct, serve as outside counsel to a number of firms on conflicts of interest and malpractice avoidance, regularly advising entities and lawyers on legal ethics, and provide arbitration and mediation services concerning law firm and client disputes.
We provide continuing legal education programs, seminars and materials for in-house lawyers, private law firms, and organizations on a broad range of professional responsibility and law practice management issues, as well as legal updates and developments in laws governing lawyers.
